After all the festivities yesterday, most of our house slept in this morning but not the birthday girl! She was ready to wake up and party so Mommy loaded her up and we went to get birthday donuts.
She still loves to smell her blanket and asks for blanky by sniffing the air!
We went through the drive-thru for the donuts and she charmed the lady at the window into her own bag of donut holes!!
We got home and everyone else woke up and joined us for birthday breakfast.
She spent the day playing with her sisters. She loves to be with them. Today she and Addie built a fort and were reading books and resting in it.

We could not figure out why she was crying when we gave her the cake. She has the biggest sweet tooth! Vivian finally helped us figure out she is scared of the candles when they are lit. Poor girl. We quickly blew them out and just enjoyed the cookie!
Emmy, you are getting so big. You are determined to do everything your big sisters do.
You love fun headbands!?! You find them in stores and will not take them off. Thankfully, they are usually in the Target $1 bin!
You want to push the stroller/shopping cart and you don't care that you can't touch the ground and the handle you have figured out that if you charm us enough we will hold you up so you can push!
You love to color, especially on yourself! We are thankful for washable markers around here!
You like to dress up/or bundle up in your coat and hat.
You are 25 lbs. 10 oz. and 34 inches long.
This is how you hold your hands when we ask you how old you are!!! It's hard to see your fingers in this picture but Vivian is mimicking the move. It looks like a gang sign version of 2 but it is so cute!!
Emerlyn Kate, we are so thankful for you! You amaze me with how smart you are and melt my heart with your precious smile and kisses. Happy Birthday! We love you up to Jesus!!
