Ben and Ellen got married this weekend in Lubbock and we were so excited to be there to celebrate with them!!
Rhett had a program before and after the wedding so he met us down there. Mimi, G and G.Gram all rode with us so that I didn't have to drive with the girls by myself. It was hilarious!!
Emerlyn was saying Mommy over and over so G asked if anyone wanted to wager on how many times she said it between Norman and Lubbock. Mom took the bet going with 50 times. HA! She met that goal in 4 minutes!!
The girls made it all the way to the hotel parking lot before they started going car crazy!!
Friday evening we went to the rehearsal dinner and had a great time visiting with Ben and Ellen's friends and lots of family!
We got an early morning surprise when the hotel fire alarms went off at 6 in the morning! For a brief minute I thought it might be a joke since we were there for Ben's wedding. (Ben, a Lubbock firefighter, is known at our house as Firefighter Ben)!
The wedding and reception were beautiful!! It was my favorite kind of ceremony, where their personalities shine through and you can see how crazy they are for each other!
When the girls weren't tearing up the dance floor they were exploring outside the reception. They loved the wagon and swings.
