We had an exciting Saturday night! First, we took the girls to the pumpkin patch.
Addie told us while we were waiting in line - "When I get on the horse I'm going to say Go Cowboys!!" Never to young to start training them!!

Once the girls warmed up to the animals they kept trying to play with their fluffy tails! Rhett and I had to explain to them that playing with their tails could be very nasty and we should stick to petting their backs!!!
She won! Here she is with the biggest pumpkin and the smallest. Notice the wagon we had to use to get to the car!
Rhett has tried to tell me for the past 10 years that he has horse allergies and I have always laughed it off as something he tells me so we don't have to go riding sometime. However, I believe him now! On the way home he started sniffling, sneezing and his eyes turned pink. Once we got home he went in to take out his contacts and came back to ask me if I could see what was going on with his eye. His right eye was bright red and the white part looked like it had turned to chicken fat - NASTY! It was also puffing out of his eyelid. I took one look and grabbed the phone to call a sitter so we could go to the ER. About two hours later, the doctor confirmed - Rhett is allergic to horses!! We got some Benedryl, eye drops and an ice pack and headed back home. By the next morning his eye was almost back to normal.
The moral of the story there -
Next time Rhett tells me he's allergic - TAKE HIS WORD FOR IT!!!Daddy we are so glad that you are feeling better! Only a really great Dad would pet the animals (including the ponies) knowing he was allergic, so we wouldn't be scared of animals and would enjoy our pony rides!! You are the best!! We love you up to Jesus!
These pictures are adorable!! And that is one HUGE pumpkin! Next year we will have to join you guys at the pumpkin patch!
