We got to tag along on another one of Daddy's programs this summer, this time to Missouri. On the way home we stopped at the Wild Animal Safari in Strafford, MO. We had a great time! I highly recommend it if you are ever nearby!! They have both a petting area where you get out and walk and a drive -thru area. We decided to drive it first. Daddy bought two bags of food and we set off on our adventure...
This was the first animal to greet us as soon as we pulled through the gate. Mommy quickly rolled up her window and the girls' - there was NO way I was holding out a tiny piece of food to that beak!!! Daddy braved it once and successfully kept all of his fingers!!
This was our favorite animal. It's a camel! He was huge and knew exactly how to twist his head so he could get further inside the car for more food, but he was awesome!
Not every day you see a camel in the side mirror!
I'm only sorry I didn't video the girls laughing hysterically when our camel friend was running next to the car for more food!
Llama llama (even without his red pajamas) he was our second favorite! Although he drooled all down Mommy's window inside and out! YUCK!

They also had interesting breeds we'd not seen (or heard of before). This is a zedonk - a cross between a zebra and a donkey...
The girls got to ride in the front seat and help Daddy drive
A normal zebra
The zedonks loved the food and would keep pushing until they got their heads all the way in the car! The Safari said not to roll your windows more than half way down but you can see in the picture we barely rolled ours down. Half way and I think we'd have given several of them a ride to Oklahoma!
Oh the tongues!! NASTY! They never ceased to crack Daddy up!
