I woke up this morning and heard the girls playing upstairs. They were talking sweetly to each other so I sat and enjoyed listening to them play so well together. (The intercom system we have is great for listening but clearly needs eyes!!! )
As I was making our bed before heading upstairs, Vivian walks in and the first thing I notice is that her fingernails AND toenails are hot pink!!!!! AHHHH!! I run frantically up the stairs to see where on earth they found polish and praying the brand new carpet survived - Vivi tells me they were in Daddy's office/the big closet upstairs. Sure enough Addison is sitting in there grinning and playing with lip gloss! I notice her toes and fingers are bright purple!
They had found one of the few boxes still not unpacked that had things in it I was saving for when they were older...the makeup, polish and even a china doll they had taken from the box and were playing with! Incredibly enough, Vivi had done a great job with the polish and there were only 2 or 3 small spots on the carpet!
After severe punishment, we got to admire the polish job! Here was Vivi's explanation: "I just wanted to be fancy this morning and I wanted to make Addie fancy too"!!

It's hard to believe that sweet face could ever get in trouble!
Addie loved the polish, however, while Mommy was clearly upset she was smart enough to repeat over and over - "Vivi do it, Vivi do it!"
