1 House: We moved into the new house on Feb. 21st and are slowly but surely settling in. The girls are adjusting to their new rooms and being upstairs by themselves. Vivian said it best when asked if she liked her new room, "I'm so excited I could cry like Mimi!" (Mimi is my mom who cries when she's happy, sad, scared, excited...you get the idea)!
I'm becoming increasingly aware of the fact that silence is not so golden! Addison loves that she has a sink by her bedroom and is obsessed with washing her hands which involves flooding the entire bathroom and soaking herself!
Here are some of the girls favorite things about the house:
This is the sink in the downstairs powder bath and they have already mastered the climb from the potty to the counter top so they can wash hands in the sink. They have the cleanest hands!!
The third bedroom upstairs is currently their playroom and they are enjoying being able to see what they have to play with almost as much as we like having the toys out of the living room! The dress up clothes are all hanging in the closet so Vivi can perform her 20 costume changes a day almost completely by herself!!
This doesn't show any favorites of Addie's but she was just so happy today I had to share this one too!
2 Words: Addison has still been very dependent on her paci and because of the move I haven't pushed taking it away but this past weekend she saw Rhett boiling them on the stove and said, "That's nasty!" I didn't think much of it and when we got ready for bed I offered her the paci and she refused it! She said, "that's nasty!" So I am happy to report we are paci free!! She's only asked for it twice since then and I've just reminded her that she thinks it's nasty and she says okay! That was easy enough!!

3 Fires: One of Rhett's favorite things about the house is the fireplace in the living room. It is completely old school. No gas. He loves it and is almost as happy as Tom Hanks in Castaway when he gets a fire going!! So far we have had 3 outstanding fires and although I look forward to many more I'm ready for the warm weather!!

4 Infected Ears: During moving weekend the girls and I all got colds. Their colds turned into double ear infections for both of them! So fun! After two separate visits to the doctor at which we waited for over an hour to be seen each time, we are almost done with the meds and back to healthy!

5 New Roommates: While Rhett and I have yet to decide what the great room is going to be used for the girls have already established it as their ballroom, complete with 5 Princesses!
