We adore Betty Thompson, Miss Oklahoma (one of Rhett's clients for the past three years and a good friend). When she came in first runner up at Miss America and got to come back and spend her year speaking across Oklahoma we knew we wanted her to come to Vivian's school!
Addison and Emerlyn got to come along for the special visit too!
As it turned out, the school scheduled the assembly for the 3rd-5th grades so Betty made a special stop in Vivian's class after the assembly. Vivi got to introduce Betty as her special visitor! Can you see Vivian is wearing her Betty Button from Miss America and holding her fan with Betty's picture?!
Betty talked to the class a little, answered questions and passed out milk mustache stickers! (Her platform is Milk - It Really Does a Body Good)!

I am so thankful for such a wonderful role-model for our girls. Betty is so precious and filled with grace and poise!
Love that Emmy Kate is doing her own thing in this picture! That seems about right!
The girls were helping Mommy clean out the closet and found my old crown. Pretty fun to watch them playing around but there's no way you'll see us on Toddlers and Tiaras!!
