Donuts with Dad!

Today was a special day at Vivi's School - Donuts with Dad!  All the Dads got to come to school with the kids in the morning and have donuts and spend some time with them in the classroom.  Vivian was so excited and had been looking forward to today for weeks!

They had all worked on several special pictures and stories for their Dads.  One was Dad of the Year.  Here's what Vivi's said:  This year we salute Rhett Laubach as Father of the Year!  He's: so so funny.  He likes to: play with his daughters.  He's the best: at kissing girls. He's good at: speaking and coaching.

This one was titled - My Dad.  The drawing is of Rhett in bed snoring!  (He had been sick the week before so he'd spent a lot of time in bed and I think it impacted her answers a little). 

My dad is - silly, sweet and nice!

My dad loves to - hang out with his girls.

My dad does not like to - argue with my mom.

My dad spends his free time - napping, but he never falls asleep.

My dad likes me because - I am sweet and prashus (precious).

I love my dad because - he is so so so so so so so so funny.

My Special Father

My father is the best father in the whole world.  He's as handsome as a prince. He's 5 feet tall and as round as a ball.   That's because he eats so much pork.  When he was little he used to play with friends. When he gets angry he yells. But when he's happy, he smiles. I wish he could play  with me every day.  I wouldn't trade my dad for a dinosaur. Love, Vivian

Vivian loves her Daddy up to Jesus and I couldn't be more thankful for such a wonderful Daddy for our girls!!
