Summer Fun!

Since I am so far behind and trying to catch up I am going to do a big summer recap!

We had a great summer. We stayed pretty close to home and just enjoyed lots of play time together!

We kicked off the summer with a super fancy tea party put on by the girls.

They have a Fancy Nancy Tea Party book that tells how to set everything up and they followed it perfectly! Notice the butterfly place mats!

We even had place cards! Love it!

I was in the kitchen one day and heard Emmy laughing. I went around the corner to find this! Vivi's doll came to life!

Papa took the girls to a fun night at Freddy's and they got their faces painted. They looked awesome!

Addison made my heart beat faster one night. Rhett was out of town and I was checking the girls before I went to bed only to find Addison's bed was empty. I thought she'd probably gone down to my bed. After checking the other two, I went downstairs but she wasn't in my bed, the living room, couch, guest room. I went back up and looked all around the beds upstairs to make sure she hadn't gotten in the floor. Nothing! I came back down and just about the time I started to really panic I saw a little pink under the dining room table...

She had gotten up and crawled under the dining room table and even pulled the chairs back in so nothing was out of place. She was sound asleep when I found her and like a good parent I made sure to take pictures before I moved her!

All three girls went to Vacation Bible School and once again, loved it! Vivian was upstairs and in with the big kids in the worship center. It was a little overwhelming the first day but after that she was hurrying me along each morning to get there faster!

The theme was Shake It Up Cafe! Carrying Out God's Recipes! It was adorable!!

Emerlyn was in the crawler room and she had lots of fun! It was the first time she'd spent any length of time playing with babies her age, besides church on Sundays. She practically jumped out of my arms the second day to get down and play!!

There were lots of shows and tons of dress up this summer!

Vivian loved to wake up early and if Emmy Kate was already up she would go in her room and read to her!

She would even give Emmy books to read too!

Vivian's school sent home a summer reading program and we had lots of fun doing it together! Reading is one of Vivian's most favorite things to do!

We wrote down 195 books she read this summer including two chapter books! These are pictures of her with most of them!

The girls begged all summer to have a lemonade stand! Right before the end of summer they got their wish. On a visit to Mimi and G's house they made signs and got everything ready.

I'm pretty sure they drank most of the product!
