Daddy Days!!

Daddy's Birthday was September 21st and we have had so much fun celebrating him!!
The girls and their Daddy with the cake they picked out just for him! Vivian had signed her card: I love you, I hope you like sports. We opened presents before he saw his cake and he looked at me confused. I told him he would understand that comment soon!

In true #1 Daddy fashion, we spent his birthday evening going to Nickelodeon Live! We had great seats and the girls loved it. Rhett and I loved watching their faces all night!!

We saw Kai-Lan, the Backyardigans, Wonder Pets and Dora the Explorer!!

Thanks Daddy for taking us to a great show for your birthday!

Sunday, Rhett played in the Henderson Hills World Series. They played at the Bricktown Ballpark. It was so much fun!!

Yes, that's our Daddy on the field in the Redhawks uniform looking every bit the pro ball player!! He even walked away with a battle scar after diving for a ball when he was on 3rd base! (Thankfully, nothing a couple band-aids and a few ibuprofen couldn't fix)!

We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather!!

Vivian even got a foul ball. It bounced in the stands and then landed on her foot. We told her the price for getting hit is that you get to keep the ball. That sounded good to her. She showed it to everyone after that!
Getting a good luck kiss!

How fun is this?!! Daddy on the jumbotron!

Here's Daddy on 2nd base!

The girls loved cheering for him! He was by far the best player they'd ever seen! After his first time at bat (he got a hit but was tagged out) Addie looked at me and said - "My Daddy is SO good at baseball!!" Shortly later, he waved at them and Vivi sighed and said, "Number 9 is so sweet to me!"
What an awesome family day!! Daddy we love you so much and are so proud of you not only for all you accomplish outside the house but more importantly for all you do to love and care for us at home! We are and always will be your biggest cheerleaders!!
