Addie Starts Preschool!

Addison Grace is in Preschool! She had her first day August 31st. She is in Ms. Casey's class and we are so excited! Vivian had Ms. Casey too.

She was so ready for the first day and went bounding into the school.

She had such a great start to the day that I was completely surprised when the school called at 1 PM. It was Ms. Casey calling with Addie. Apparently, when Ms. Casey tried to take the class to another room to do art for one of their afternoon centers Addison had a meltdown! She was screaming and crying and telling them that this was her room and she wasn't suppose to leave her preschool room until Mommy picked her up!! Addie got on the phone and I reassured her she could go anywhere in the school with Ms. Casey and it would be perfectly okay. She handed the phone back, smiled and went right on to art class! It was pretty funny but I take comfort in knowing she will pitch a fit to stay where her Mommy said!

Day two - Addie went in the drop-off line and walked right into school! On the way home she asked me where God's hands were. She was looking out the car windows. She said if God's holding the world, where are his hands. It took me a little while but I realized she'd been singing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands!!" She is loving the praise and worship time!
