Getting Ready for School!

School is just around the corner so we are starting our annual preparations.

Before haircuts...

And after!

Even Emerlyn got a pretend haircut.  I know she has a total mullet working but I am still refusing to cut what little hair she has!!

Next was a trip to the dermatologist to have a couple spots looked at on the girls' noses.

After a couple days, Addison decided she wanted her hair cut a little shorter so we went back and Cassie took off another inch or two.  It looks adorable!

Love the Saturday morning cartoons...the girls saw the commercial for CuddleUppets (part blanket, part puppet) and just had to have them.  I told them if they could come up with the money from their piggy banks I would help them order.

Five minutes later they were standing in front of me cheering with a pile of quarters on my desk!! 

The girls were slightly disappointed that they had to wait almost 2 weeks for the CuddleUppets to arrive but decided they were worth the wait!  They really are pretty cute and the blanket part is very soft!

What else do you do when the temperature won't drop below 100??  Pretend it's snowing of course!

The girls got in the closet and found all their winter clothes and used our white comforter to pretend they were playing in the snow!!

All this school prep and busy playing is hard work!
