Laubach's Kansas City Vaca - Part 2

The first night we went to Legends shopping center and ate at T-Rex! It is like a Rainforest Cafe but all about dinosaurs and it was awesome!!!

All of us in our booth. There were dinosaurs everywhere inside and every few minutes the lights would dim and the dinos would roar and move around! The first time Paden's eyes got big and Jenny told her not to be scared it was called animatronics. Paden, who will be 3 in December, said okay and the next time it started she looks at us and tells us it's just animatronimics! It became the word of the trip. By the end when I asked her to say it she would sound it out and look at me like - Come on Aunt Ashley don't you have this down yet?! Definitely a super-star!!

Legends is an outlet shopping center so Jenny and I hit the stores! The girls thought it was too funny to hide inside the racks of clothes while we shopped. We'd be walking down the aisles and hear them but couldn't see them anywhere until we would spot little feet sticking out or a rack that was shaking!!

Dinner the second night was at a hibachi steak house!

Vivian has always wanted an older brother and has decided the next best thing is her cousin Noah! She adores him!!!

The third morning we headed to Worlds of Fun. We might have had better luck with directions if we had let the girls show us where to go! A piece of advice to Worlds of Fun - Invest in some signs around the park!! We were lost more of the day than not!

Excited for a big day at the park and realizing it wasn't quite 80's and overcast - more like 100 and super-sunny!!!

Once we made it to Snoopy Land the kids had a great time! They were practically the only kids in the park so we rode whatever we wanted, as many times as they wanted, with no lines!!!

After this we went to lunch and realized we were melting so we thought we'd go back to the hotel, cool off, rest and then come back in the evening for the parade and fireworks. Things didn't quite go as planned...we woke up from naps to find it thundering, lightening and pouring rain!! So while we didn't make it back to the park we did find another great shopping center!!
