3 Weeks In...

We are officially three weeks into school and the girls are still loving it! They seem to be adjusting well and we're into a great routine. We've even made time for pictures each morning...

Cheese!!

Purple Day - The girls had Show and Tell and got to bring one purple thing each. Vivian took her purple etch-a-sketch and Addison took one of her baby dolls that has purple pj's. It's a baby doll that records messages when you hold down one of her hands and then plays it back when you press the other. I was trying to help her record a message saying something like - this is my baby but when I held it down for her she said: Ms. Kristin and Ms. Brandi are my favorites!! (Those are her teachers! They have definitely won her over!!)

Now she's got it...

My favorite! Especially since this is one of the first times they've done this that Vivi doesn't have Addie in a choke-hold!

Besides school, we've been playing outside when it's not raining. Addison's mastered the sidewalk chalk although, I think she enjoys coloring herself more than the driveway!

Most days when they come home from school we have to play teacher. On this day they put a spin on it and became little mommies!! So Cute!

Rhett and I woke up one morning and the girls had moved all the dining room chairs to the entry way and wanted us to sit and watch their show! They opened with Rise and Shine!
(Addison's new favorite song. She likes to sing it EVERY night before bed!)

Vivian sang Genesis 1:1 a new song she learned at school.

And they closed with Wheels on the Bus - Thank you Uncle Adam for the new version - "The G on the bus says What's up Dogg?" This has become the new official version at our house!
We had a small break in the rain this weekend so we decided to paint the garage doors (we haven't been able to find the right color since we moved in but finally found one we liked)!!
G came over and brought us the supplies and got us going!!
He even gave the girls some pointers.

We were almost done when the sky opened up and it started pouring! We moved to the back porch to watch the rain. The girls found their favorite spot in G's lap!
Thanks G for all the help!! We love you up to Jesus!!
