With each of our girls it becomes increasingly difficult to remember what we did for entertainment before they were born! Emerlyn has been on a roll lately, learning all kinds of new tricks and keeping us laughing! Here are some of the highlights of her adventures:
She is always smiling but especially loves to FaceTime on the phone! She thinks it's too fun to see herself!!
Emmy Kate loves her blanky! Because she never actually has to use words to say what she wants (between being our last baby and her big sisters spoiling her rotten) she has figured out how to tell us when she wants blanky! She loves to smell the corner of her blanket so when she wants blanky she gives us a big sniff and points to it!

She is certain she's a doll or that the girls have all these special toys that are just her size! She climbs in Vivian's doll's convertible for a spin every night after her bath. She also likes to sit in the doll chairs next to the car and have a tea parties.
One of the benefits to being a 3rd baby - Cheese Balls!
You know the giant containers of cheese balls in the store that you pass and wonder who would buy those...umm....Yeah! Addison talked me into them one day and guess who loves them more than anyone!?!
They are by far Emmy Kate's favorite food!
She loves playing with her big sisters' toys! She thinks she can do everything they can!

She can tell you where her eyes, ears, nose and mouth are but in true Emmy fashion she does it her own way. When you ask where her eyes are she blinks a bunch. When you ask where her nose is she sniffs big!
This doll stroller has been used for Emerlyn far more than it ever was for dolls! She loves to sit and ride in it and the girls love to push her around!
Combining two of her favorite things: coat/hat and stroller ride! Let's GO!
She loves her Daddy! The other day she was walking down the hall to his office and said "Hi Daddy!" It was so clear I did a double-take! We normally here lots of Dada and Mama.
It makes me feel SO old to remember a time before cell phones! Emmy loves to play on ours and can easily slide to open it!

She loves reading just like her big sisters!! They are such good examples for her! Most mornings I will wake up to them reading to her in her room!

She loves her sisters and they love her!! I am crazy in love with all three of them!!!
Emerlyn started working with silverware the other night and did pretty good for her first time!

After a while she decided she could get more if she used her hands so she set the silverware aside but it was fun while it lasted!
Emerlyn Kate, you fill our lives with so much joy! I cannot imagine our family without you!! We love you up to Jesus!!

We keep the girls' coats and hats on some hooks by the back door. Emerlyn is now tall enough to reach her coat and hat so she's taken to wearing them over her pj's at all times!
