This was Addison's first year to be allowed to invite her class to a birthday party and since the two pre-k classes are together often and she has friends in both classes we invited them all! She decided she wanted an Art Party!
Lisha Snyder created the invitations (return labels, gift tags and thank you cards). She is wonderful and I would highly recommend her for any stationery needs. I loved how they turned out!

Welcome to Addie's Studio!

Ready to greet her guests

Thank you to my sweet family who helped decorate! I could not have done it without you! We were pretty proud of our first attempt at a rainbow balloon arch!

Party favors

Balloon wreath

Major thank you to Mimi who helped me create this super-fun rainbow "tent"! It took us forever but it was so worth it!!

When the kids arrived we split them into three groups and they rotated around to three different art stations. The first was Pinkie Paintings.

They each got to pick which animal they wanted to make and then we painted their hands on canvases!

The next station was the Crayola Coolers. They colored their own cup.

I somehow missed getting any pictures of the finished cups but they were super cute!

The last station was Loopy Loos, where they made necklaces out of Fruit Loops.

After crafts it was time to eat!

The rainbow food!

Who wants cake?

One of Addison's best friends has a peanut butter allergy so instead of ordering a cake from the bakery I decided to make one this year. Addie helped me pick it out and of course she wanted the 6 layer rainbow cake!

Make a wish!

Again, I didn't get a great picture of the inside of the cake. (Next year I will remember to assign someone else to take pictures!)

This was a picture of the practice cake I made the week before. It doesn't have all the colors but you get the idea. It was a hit!!

Next, it was time to get Addie's 5th Birthday Popping!

Rhett, Dad and Adam spent the evening before stuffing balloons with candy and confetti and then blowing them up. Adam arranged them into a perfect 5! The kids drew numbers to get in order and then used a pin attached to the end of a ruler to pop a balloon and get the candy! The kids loved it!

Addison, I hope you enjoyed your party! I know we all had a great time celebrating you! We love you up to Jesus!!
