School Days...

The girls have both been busy with lots of fun school activities so I thought I'd share a few!

On Fridays, lots of kids and teachers wear shirts to support their favorite teams. Vivian came home one day and said she really wanted to wear an OSU shirt because most of the kids in her class and her teacher were all OU fans! Glad she is learning at a young age to be proud of your team even if you're in the minority!

Family Fun Night at Vivian's school was a hit again! She got to meet up with all her friends and eat pizza, play games and go on the bounce house. She even got her picture made with the school mascot!

This was a self portrait she made that hangs outside the classroom!

Addie is excited to be a Centennial Buffalo next year!

Spirit Day this month for Addison was Hat Day!

Addison has been learning colors in Spanish. Click here to watch her telling me all of them! You should know I have watched this video a million times! It's never fails to make me giggle!!

Color day was - Orange! We have plenty of that to pick from at our house!

Addie's school has a Shutterfly page where they post pictures of the different class activities so parents can see what they have been doing. I love getting to see Addie in action! Here are a few of my favorites from this year so far...

Making necklaces

Playing - yes, that is Addison Grace, in a dress hanging with all the boys! Her best friend is the cutie pie in the red shirt, Gunnar. They were great friends in class last year and even though we didn't really see him all summer they have picked up their friendship right were they left it!

They studied apples and did several projects with them but what study would be complete without a taste test?!

The firemen came to the school. Addison enjoyed them but the first thing she said when she came home was, "Mom, the firemen came today but Ben wasn't there!" Ben is my cousin who is a firemen in Lubbock and all three of our girls are crazy about him!

Addison's class with the fire truck. (Addie is second kiddo from the left, next to Gunnar)!

This was part of their obstacle course...love the face of determination!

Go Addie Go!

They had a Yawn Party one day. They have been learning about animals at night and this was one of the highlights! Wearing pajamas to school, learning in tents and playing with flashlights!

She even got to touch a bat!! It was dead she said but real!

I am so thankful that the girls love school and with fun like this...how could they not??!!
