Four Months Old - Yummy Time, Tummy Time!

Emerlyn had her 4 month well child appointment on February 23rd. She is so much fun! This stage is one of my favorites (actually they all are) but she is so happy all the time, sleeping great and not mobile yet!

She was 13 lbs 7 oz and 24 1/4 inches long.

The doctor thought she was a perfect angel too!She has found her hands and now they are constantly in her mouth! She loves tummy time and rolls from her tummy to her back. She's so close to rolling the other way too.

She got to start baby food. The girls thought this was awesome - well, until they saw how messy it was and how much the food smells! Our doctor has changed his strategy and is no longer doing the rice cereal first so we went straight to veggies, starting with green beans.

Hmm...spoons? Green beans? Not real sure about this...

Really not a fan of the green beans, neither are her sisters so I wasn't surprised!

But she loves carrots!! I was making a mess dripping them on her and she was trying to lick it off her bib!

We've now officially had veggies, meats and veggies and fruits. So far the only things she doesn't like are green beans, macaroni and cheese and she hated turkey and rice! You would have thought I was physically hurting her the night I fed her turkey and rice - can you say healthy lungs!?! She screamed until I gave her carrots.

Emerlyn is still an amazing sleeper. Although she never wants to be away from the action. We went home for a surprise birthday party for Miss Debbi and she fell sound asleep with all of us talking loud and laughing!
